Amanda Beard born on October 29, 1981 in Irvine, California, USA. She is a swimmer and model.
Biography and Career :
At the age of fourteen she was already present at the Olympic Games. It was happening in 1996 at Atlanta when she won two silver medals at 100 and 200 m breaststroke and a gold medal at 4x100 m medley relay. She entered in the media's and public's attention because she was very young.
She won the NCAA National Championship while attending the University of Arizona. After only two years she was the world champion and world record holder in the 200m breaststroke. She was present at the Olympics in Sydney in 2000 and in Athens in 2004 and every time did a great job and managed to win another medals. She is the winner of eight United States titles and in 2003 was placed on the first rank in world ranking of 200m breaststroke.
As a model she appeared in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition, FHM in 2006 and one year later in a nude pictorial in the famous Playboy magazine. She is sexy, smart and talented and men all over the world would give anything to have her. Let's hope that we will see her in the swimming races a long time.
